Map of the Land

landblog main
This is from a satellite image taken in summer of 2006, with notation added in March and December 2010. NH is the north hill, WH is the west hill, S is the spring, T is the tent platform, and O is the main orchard, although I've planted stuff all over the bottomlands. Farther down, M is the dense reed canarygrass that I call the meadow, Sw is the swampy area, P is the disturbed area I call the parking lot, and H is the cobwood hut. The lowest elevation line is 2640 feet and the highest is 2800. The actual property lines are maybe 60 feet inside the edges of the image, which covers roughly 800x800 feet.

(The base image was stitched together from two Google maps screen captures. All image manipulation was done with mtPaint.)
